If you read this brief report, it might raise some eyebrows. Apparently, the administration of this school has sent out some of these report cards to some parents regarding their sons and or daughters .

Apparently, there is some concern about sharing the results of these report cards is somewhat tenuous- parents are cautioned about sharing the results ( I am not sure if the results are in A,B,C,D, or F grades, or based on 90, 80,70, 60, or numerical grades, and I am not sure if there is information as to whether the child is making progress, or is stable, or is perhaps needed remediation.

However, what is somewhat perplexing is the statement about altering or changing the report card- perhaps to help the child’s self-esteem or self- concept or self-worth.

Have a good weekend !
