“A Security Clearance – No Rite of Passage!”

By Donna Garner

Keeping a security clearance is not a  Constitutional right nor a “rite of passage”!

The only reason that some high-level political leaders in a previous administration (e.g., Obama’s) are allowed to keep their security clearance is so that they can help the new administration (e.g., Trump’s) during the transition period. That time has long come and gone now, and Pres. Trump is certainly within his purview to revoke Brennan’s security clearance.

Any former CIA director [i.e., John Brennan] who repeatedly and publicly says Donald J. Trump, the duly elected President of the Unites States, is a traitor certainly cannot be trusted with a security clearance!

In fact, Pres. Trump was doing the responsible thing to revoke Brennan’s security clearance and now needs to revoke other people’s security clearances based upon their partisan, political bias and their anti-American rhetoric against the President we Americans elected.

These corrupt people (some 25 top FBI, DOJ officials who have been recently fired, demoted, or pressured to resign) cannot be trusted with our national security.  They might give our national security secrets away simply to spite Trump. In truth, many of them could end up in prison for their felonious offenses.

How did John Brennan ever get a security clearance in the first place after he stated publicly that he voted in the 1976 Presidential election for the Communist Party candidate?

As a young woman, I was vetted and passed a security clearance many years ago; but I am willing to bet that if I had voted for a Communist for U. S. President, I certainly would not have gotten my security clearance.

When I got mine, the agents checked with every next door neighbor, teacher, friend, pastor, and employer they could possibly find. For months, I had people coming up to me and telling me that they had been questioned about me.

What if the agents had found that I voted for a candidate in the Communist Party?  I feel sure that the doors of opportunity would  have been closed forever for me to have worked at a national nuclear facility nor could I have served later on in my life as a Presidential appointee to a national commission.

When I left the top secret national nuclear facility where I worked, I gave back my ID and had to sign a document that stated I would never tell anyone what I had seen nor heard while there.  I am willing to bet that John Brennan had to sign the same type of form, yet here he is “telling all” each day on NBC/MSNBC.

Last week our nation was surprised when an outstanding Admiral, William H. McRaven (ret.), decided to support John Brennan by writing a letter to Pres. Trump saying, “He [John Brennan] is a man of unparalleled integrity, whose honesty and character have never been in question… I would consider it an honor if you would revoke my security clearance as well, so I can add my name to the list of men and women who have spoken up against your presidency.”

A little background:  After McRaven left the Obama administration, he came to the University of Texas for three and a half years as UT Systems Chancellor where his big emphasis was on gender equity and diversity. UT is well known as a bastion of liberalism.

Interestingly, McRaven and Brennan shared a common bond with the University of Texas: both graduated from UT close to the same time period.

This last May, McRaven was pressured out as UT System Chancellor; and rumor has it that he may be interested in running for political office after he deals with some health issues.

What better way for McRaven to get his name in the news for a possible run as a Democrat than to take John Brennan’s side because Brennan now has the microphone at NBC/MSNBC/CNN!

Since these networks no longer report the news but make up the news and also serve as publicists for anything leftwing and Democrat, wily McRaven may have found a way to get free publicity for his political campaign.
