“Another Vendetta Launched at Trump – Attack on Kellyanne Conway”

By Donna Garner

The Office of Special Counsel, headed by Henry K. Kerner, came out today saying that Kellyanne Conway needs to be fired because she has “violated the Hatch Act for disparaging Democratic presidential candidates.”

The White House immediately responded, “The Office of Special Counsel’s (OSC) unprecedented actions against Kellyanne Conway are deeply flawed and violate her constitutional rights to free speech and due process. Others, of all political views, have objected to the OSC’s unclear and unevenly applied rules which have a chilling effect on free speech for all federal employees…”

Who is Henry K. Kerner?  Judicial Watch obtained IRS documents on 6.21.18 that revealed Kerner used to work as Sen. John McCain’s minority staff director and was chief counsel on the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee. It was Henry Kerner who told IRS official Lois Lerner that the way to stop conservative 501(c)(4), non-profit groups would be to audit and harass them “until they are unable to continue operating.”  This meant delaying the processing of conservative groups’ applications by requiring them to submit an unbelievable amount of private data. It was this illegal bullying by the IRS that caused many of the Tea Party organizations and their leaders to undergo great personal stress and financial ruin (e.g., True the Vote under Catherine Englebrecht that on 6.7.19 just won a stunning court ruling against IRS and Lois Lerner).

Henry Kerner is obviously trying to target Pres. Trump and his administration by attacking Kellyanne Conway. We need to remember the close relationship between Henry Kerner and Sen. John McCain.  We also need to remember that Sen. McCain disliked Pres. Trump so much that McCain’s single vote kept Obamacare from being repealed.

Henry Kerner is still trying to uphold the McCain legacy by attacking Pres. Trump through Kellyanne Conway.  This obviously partisan blast is politically motivated and should be put in the trash heap of history along with the rest of the Deep Swamp’s “fake news.”
