ASU pervert professor exposes himself

hidePolice say an associate Arizona State University professor was arrested Wednesday after he exposed himself to a Tempe police officer in a park bathroom.

Michael Cenerini, 53, entered a bathroom Wednesday afternoon in Papago Park in Tempe and exposed himself several times to the officer, who was not in uniform, according to the police report obtained by 12 News. The officer reported the incident to fellow officers.

Cenerini was later pulled over and arrested. Police found lubricant and a condom in his pockets, according to the documents.

He was booked into jail on one charge of public sexual indecency, which carries a penalty of up to six months in jail, according to documents.

The ASU website lists Cenerini as a faculty associate.

A message left with ASU’s media relations office had not been returned Friday.
