4.26.16 – Summary of Ted Cruz’s Rally in Knightstown, Indiana:

The media is excited about Trump “because Trump is the one man on earth that Hillary Clinton can beat in a general election.”

40% of GOP doubt they would vote for Donald Trump.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are both New York liberals.

The Ted Cruz campaign now moves back to Cruz-favorable states such as Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Montana, Washington, and California. This race is not over.

“Hillary has decided on her Vice Presidential nominee. Hillary has picked Donald Trump.  She wanted someone who shares her vision of the federal government.”

Hillary and Trump are the flip side of each other.

Hillary and Trump share the same vision on many of the very same issues:

Both Trump and Hillary want taxes to be increased.

Both support the ObamaCare individual mandate.

Both believe that illegal immigrants who are here should be allowed to become legal citizens.

Both support taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood. Both describe Planned Parenthood as “terrific.”

Both supported Bill Clinton’s national ban on many of the most important firearms in America.

Both believe we should negotiate with Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, and the Democrats on Supreme Court nominations.

Both agree that grown men should be allowed to use the little girls’ bathroom.

Both believe the U. S. government should be neutral between Israel and the Palestinians.

Both have said they would keep this catastrophic Iranian nuclear deal in place.

Both believe Hillary Clinton was one of the greatest Secretary’s of State for all time. Donald Trump gave money to Hillary’s Presidential campaign.

Both campaigns are run by Washington lobbyists.

Both supported Obama’s failed Stimulus plan.

Both supported Obama’s TARP bailout of Wall Street.

This past week Donald’s lobbyist, campaign manager was talking to top officials of the Republican Party. (The conversation was caught on tape.)  The campaign manager said Trump is going to pivot away from everything he has been saying to the public. Donald Trump is just playing a role.

Cruz: “Trump can be the most politically correct person on earth. We have had enough of having the most politically correct person in the White House [Obama]…Donald is telling us that he is lying to us. He says he can be a different person tomorrow than he is today.”

Cruz:  “I am the same person today that I was yesterday and that I will be tomorrow as President.”

Cruz:  “This race is very simple. Trump and Hillary are both big-government liberals; they both think the federal government is the answer to every problem. I agree with Ronald Reagan that the scariest words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the federal government and I’m here to help you.’”

“This election is about jobs; it’s about freedom; it’s about security.”

“We are tired of a President who divides us, tired of a President who rips us apart. We need a President who unites us, who remembers who we are as Americans.”

“We the people are taking our country back and doing it together.”
