“Chick-fil-A No Different from Other Greedy Companies”

By Donna Garner

Please take the time to express your great displeasure and disappointment to your local Chick-fil-A franchises about the decision by corporate to quit supporting the Salvation Army, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Paul Anderson Youth Home, and other charitable groups who stand for Biblical values, believing that marriage should be between one natural woman and one natural man.  It should sadden all of us to know that even Chick-fil-A has fallen into the trap of deception spread by the LGBTQ community.

Chick-fil-A now says that they are going to focus their donations exclusively to charities that effectively help “education, homelessness, and hunger.”  They plan to cut their donations to such organizations as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Salvation Army, and the Paul Anderson Youth Home, etc.

Just where does Fellowship of Christian Athletes do its most work…in schools!  That sounds to me like “education.”

The Salvation Army issued a statement saying, “We serve more than 23 million individuals a year, including those in the LGBTQ+ community.  In fact, we believe we are the largest provider of poverty relief to the LGBTQ+ population.”  That sounds to me like “homelessness and hunger.”

The Paul Anderson Youth Home “has been shaping men of Christian character since 1961.”  Some 91% of the youth ages 16 – 21 who come there are on drugs. The Paul Anderson Youth Home also runs a fully accredited high school.  That certainly sounds like “education” to me!

Let’s be honest about this. Chick-fil-A is a wonderful restaurant chain because of its wholesome family atmosphere and because of its healthy and delicious food. It has become immensely wealthy largely because of its stand for Judeo-Christian values such as closing on Sundays and supporting traditional values. In 2018, Chick-fil-A reported more than $10 Billion in revenue which marked 51 years of consecutive sales growth. It has become the third-largest fast-food chain in this country.

Chick-fil-A cannot be satisfied with that huge profit?  They think it is a good idea to throw their traditional values under the bus to bring in more “filthy lucre”?

It hurts me to say this, but Chick-fil-A is putting money above the importance of following Biblical standards. Those standards are meant by the Creator to promote health and well-being.  For Chick-fil-A to turn away from those standards in favor of profit puts them in a very precarious place. It also energizes the wayward and desperately misinformed LGBTQ community.

We who support healthy lifestyles and traditional values for everyone must voice our deep disappointment to Chick-fil-A. We thought they were different from other greedy corporate entities who have bought the LGBTQ lies hook, line, and sinker. Guess not…

Those Chick-fil-A sandwiches and waffle potato fries will never taste the same to me, knowing that truly dedicated and life-saving organizations such as the Salvation Army, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Paul Anderson Home for Boys, and many other faith-based organizations are being deprived of those absolutely essential Chick-fil-A donations.

Shame on CFA. It let the homosexual hatemongers bully them into submission.
