Federal Bill Pushes Critical Theory, War On Whites Into School Districts

With the recent bipartisan introduction in Congress of the Civics Secures Democracy Act (CSDA) to “supercharge civics education,” the American taxpayer will be gouged for $6 billion for woke education. If passed, this bill will politicize civics and history and jet propel the war on whites into federal education policy.

On March 11 Republicans, Senator John Cornyn and Representative Tom Cole, joined Democrat Senator Chris Coons and two House Democrats to introduce the Civics Secures Democracy Act.

Colleges of Education Marxist Programs Would Be Funded

Using nonsensical woke buzz words to disguise the true intent, the bill calls for pumping $1 billion annually for six years into radical left Action Civics and Critical Race programs. Each year colleges of education will receive $150 million to indoctrinate future teachers in Marxist CRT. Colleges of education are where CRT was largely pioneered and where Brazilian Marxist Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed is the #1 choice for theory courses. Colleges of education are where former Weather Underground militant Bill Ayers has spent decades twisting the minds of future teachers.

Creation of a De Facto National Curriculum

Specifically prohibited is the use of funds to develop a national curriculum in American history or civics education. Yet woke buzz words show the bill actually creates a de facto national curriculum in Action Civics and Critical Race Theory – a federal Common Core in history and civics.

The vehicle will be the National Assessments in Education Progress (known as the Nation’s Report Card) that shows us how well the states are doing at teaching basic knowledge and skills. The NAEP will be given to grades 4, 8, and 12 to determine proficiency in civics and history and to facilitate state comparisons. Because the NAEP has not been aligned with Common Core, we were able to see how the rise in America’s reading and math scores reversed course and headed downward with the implementation of Common Core.

The Civics Secures Democracy Act would most likely be combined with the new, supposedly bipartisan, Educating for American Democracy (EAD), whose leaders are also the chief public supporters of the CSDA.

The ultimate goal of EAD is not to improve the traditional civics and American history but rather to shove Action Civics down the throat of every school district in the nation. (For more information, click here and here.)

The EAD Report calls for developing state social studies standards and curricula that align with the EAD. At the federal level, the report calls for revising the NAEP frameworks for civics and U.S. History and aligning the NAEP with the EAD for testing every two years in grades 4,8, and 12.

The college tests – ACT and SAT – along with Advanced Placement courses for high school students – have already been aligned to Common Core for math and English. Common Core has now been codified at the national level in the Every Student Succeeds Act.

If NAEP is aligned with EAD, the public will not be able to see the downward trend in civics and history that is sure to come as we did with Common Core math and English.

Federal grants under the CSDA would be renewed based on statewide performance on the new NAEP which would be phony and fraudulent assessments.

Thus, CSDA/EAD’s de facto national curriculum in civics and history, along with Common Core’s in English and math, completes the full circle of a de facto national curriculum.

Federal Grants for K-12 Action Civics and CRT Programs

The bill appropriates $1 billion annually for federal grants to support K-12 curriculum development, teacher training, and research on K-12 teaching of history and civics. Grants are based on two criteria:

  • “Evidence based” practices that are the same as those for Action Civics (Bill pages 5 and 6): teacher directed class discussion on current social and political controversies, community organizing and political protests for course credit (“projects” and “experiential learning”), and internships with lobbying and advocacy organizations for course credit (“service learning”).

Media literacy programs. Naturally these will be only fake news types.

  • Grants to “improve knowledge and engagement” among the oppressed (“under served”) and grants for students of “different income levels, racial and ethnic groups, and native languages.” This means everyone except white, heterosexual Christians who are considered the oppressors.

Bill Would Cancel Western Civilization, American History

Evidence about the bill’s true intent is found in the changes to be made to the Higher Education Act of 1965 (Bill page 24, lines 12-19):

(B) in paragraph (2), by striking ‘‘traditional American history, free institutions, or Western civilization’’ and inserting ‘‘American political thought and history, free institutions, the impact of American representative democracy and constitutional democracies globally, or the means of participation in political and civic life.’

Conclusion

The goal of Critical Race Theory is to cancel out Western Civilization and its traditional Christian values – and our traditional American history – and replace it with a godless, global New World Order. If this is successful, America will cease to be a sovereign nation and our unalienable freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution will cease to exist.

Democrats are getting plenty of help from do-gooder, liberal Republicans in destroying Western Civilization. It appears these rogues are our real enemy within. So it’s up to the “we the people” to stop this war on whites. Even though most lawmakers believe they are our superiors and the grassroots are an ignorant bunch of imbeciles, we cannot continue to remain passive. Democrats aren’t passive!!!
