How many COVID-19 cases are in SC schools as of Sept. 15?

Case numbers are low, but the virus has taken a toll on schools already.

Coronavirus cases in South Carolina K-12 schools rose to 414, according to new Department of Health and Environmental Control data posted Tuesday.

The 414 cases include 275 students who tested positive and 139 employees, according to DHEC’s online tracker.

The online tracker, which is updated every Tuesday and Friday, includes all public, private and charter schools throughout the state.
