Here is some irony:  After adding more than $6 Trillion to the national debt (a total of almost $17 Trillion with each American citizen’s share now $52,871,74 ), Obama says he won’t work in a bipartisan way to address our spending problems; but “his administration is eager to negotiate with Vladimir Putin.”

A MIRACLE IN THE HOUSE

Last Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, the House did what the majority of Americans wanted them to do – passed a Continuing Resolution (CR) that would fund basic services for Americans (e.g., Medicare, Military, Social Security, and Veterans’ Programs) but would defund Obamacare.

Just a few weeks ago, the chances looked very grim to get such a bill through the House; but after a tremendous public outcry from all across America, the House CR to defund Obamacare was passed.

(Two Democrats, Reps. Jim Matheson of Utah and and Mike McIntyre of North Carolina joined up with 228 Republicans in approving the bill. Rep. Scott Rigell of Virginia was the only Republican to vote against the CR.)

FIGHT NOW IN THE SENATE

Now the fight has moved to the Senate. All of the Senate Republicans and any Democrats who are politically vulnerable in the voting booths should come together and support the House CR bill only if it still contains the provision to defund Obamacare.

If Harry Reid were to strip out the defunding of Obamacare provision, then the Senators need to vote against cloture.  (Cloture brings the debate to a screeching halt).

At that point, anyone who votes for cloture is essentially voting for Obamacare, and the American public must remember this when they go into the voting booths.

STAGES OF REPUBLICAN PLAN TO DEFUND OBAMACARE

Stage 1:  Done — Unify the American people to defund Obamacare.  Now 1.6 million Americans have signed the national petition – www.dontfundobamacare.com .

Stage 2:  Done – The House voted on Friday, 9.20.13 for the CR that funds basic services but defunds Obamacare.

Stage 3: This week in Senate –  All Senate Republicans and politically vulnerable Democrats must unify and stand together by blocking  consideration of any CR bill that does not contain the defunding of Obamacare.

*****This is where the American people must get involved by contacting their Senators and telling them in no uncertain terms that they must not vote for cloture if the defunding of Obamcare has been stripped out. Stage 4:  Possible Plan B – If the Senate passes the CR bill with the defunding of Obama care stripped out, then the House must stick together and hold its ground. The Republicans have the majority in the House and must lead because they have the power of the purse.

The House should keep passing smaller CR’s for separate federal agencies and keep sending these bills back to the Senate.  This will force Harry Reid either to allow the Obamacare defunding provision to remain, or else he and his fellow supporters will be held responsible for shutting down various government services.

MESSAGE TO DEMOCRATS

If Plan B fails, the American people will remember when they go into the voting booths that it was Harry Reid and the Democrats who caused the shutdown of the federal government and who allowed the much-hated Obamacare to be funded.

REASONS WHY SO MANY AMERICANS HATE OBAMACARE

Jan LaRue in her 9.22.13 article in the American Thinker explained why we must not allow Obamacare to go into effect:

ObamaCare is the greatest internal threat to American liberty, perhaps in our entire history…

ObamaCare is toxic to liberty and contrary to our Constitution.  The behemoth federal government will make our health care decisions while massively increasing our costs and taxes.

Our chances of keeping the doctors and health care plans of choice decrease daily as doctors discontinue practicing medicine.

Other health care providers, such as the Cleveland Clinic and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, are laying off employees and cutting budgets.

Major health insurers are increasingly refusing to participate in Obama Care exchanges.

The economy is on the Fed’s life-support, as Americans are anesthetized by ‘quantitative easing.’

Full-time jobs are becoming part-time or nonexistent to avoid ObamaCare penalties.

Major employers such as Home Depot and Walgreens are moving employees from private insurance plans to health care exchanges.  The ObamaCare enforcers at the IRS will have us in their auditing and penalty-imposing crosshairs.  Just ask the Tea Party what that’s like.
