Please be prepared for a new round of attacks found in the The New Yorker in an article published last night at 7:49 P. M.  The article is entitled “Senate Democrats Investigate a New Allegation of Sexual Misconduct, from Kavanaugh’s College Years.”

In a statement, Kavanaugh wrote, “This alleged event from 35 years ago did not happen. The people who knew me then know that this did not happen, and have said so. This is a smear, plain and simple. I look forward to testifying on Thursday about the truth, and defending my good name—and the reputation for character and integrity I have spent a lifetime building—against these last-minute allegations.”

This time a woman named Deborah Ramirez, a 53 year-old registered Democrat who was a Yale classmate of Brett Kavanaugh’s, tells her very emotion-packed story about what allegedly happened to her at a dorm party. This article follows the usual pattern – the same one set during the last minute “lynching” of Roy Moore when he had allegations placed against him that went back 40 years.

Because the leftists managed to defeat Roy Moore, they have become empowered with success. Therefore, they are throwing the same type of lies, innuendos, hazy memories, vague references, and “he said-she said” allegations at Kavanaugh.

Meanwhile, Kavanaugh is left to try to battle the allegations from 35 years ago that are cloaked in vagueness and obfuscation.  How do you “fight fog?”

The writers of these types of breaking articles are skilled at making fiction appear to be nonfiction. Of course, the writers choose their words carefully to build sympathy for the victim and to vilify the man. Deborah is portrayed as an innocent, unsuspecting, naïve victim while Kavanaugh is portrayed as a sadistic drunkard!

When a person reads The New Yorker article through the lens of a fact-based prism, it turns out that Deborah Ramirez was terribly drunk and that she evidently had no actual memory of what happened on the night in question. Initially she told The New Yorker that she was unsure Kavanaugh was involved; but after six days of consulting with her Democrat attorney, she “amazingly” remembered that Kavanaugh was the person who did these terrible deeds 35 years ago.

Interestingly enough, The New Yorker admits they have “not confirmed with other eyewitnesses that Kavanaugh was present at the party…The magazine contacted several dozen classmates of Ramirez and Kavanaugh regarding the incident. Many did not respond to interview requests; others declined to comment, or said they did not attend or remember the party.”

Any honest and decent editor at this point would have told his writers to drop the story because of lack of certifiable evidence; but oh, no — not the ever-liberal New Yorker magazine that is desperate to collude with the Democrat leftists who want to destroy America!

In the midst of the lurid details in the article, it appears that other students mentioned either do not remember the incident in question or had only heard third-hand rumors about a wild dorm party. Most of the people questioned for the article either did not know anything specific about the party, refused to go on record because of the fuzziness of their memories going back 35 years, or are friends of Deborah’s and are simply siding with her without having first-hand knowledge of the facts.

The New Yorker received its lead from a civil-rights lawyer (undoubtedly Democrat leftist) and contacted Deborah whom they describe as a person who “supports victims of domestic violence and works toward human rights, social justice, and social change.”  That is code for a #Me Too supporter.

The writersthrow in enough salacious, sordid details to whet the appetite of the public and to build outrage against Kavanaugh, but the motives behind the article are quite clear:  Write and publish absolutely anything to kill the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh as the next Supreme Court Justice.

These writers are skilled at character assassination just as those were who wrote the allegations against Roy Moore.  If these writers can help to mount a campaign to have “trial by media,” then they will be able to sell their miserable articles, create havoc in the Supreme Court nomination process, gain popularity for the #Me Too movement, raise public pressure to a fevered pitch, deny Brett Kavanaugh a fair process as guaranteed under the law, and destroy his Constitutional right to be considered innocent until proven guilty.  The word “proven” means with a preponderance of objective, well-documented, profound evidence that would stand up in a court of law.

I beseech the Senate Judiciary Committee to stand together to support the process that has been established by the Committee and carried out by them in a fair and expeditious manner.  Brett Kavanaugh has been cleared by the FBI six different times after exhaustive and thorough investigations; he has answered almost 2,000 questions either in person or in writing; he has had 65 meetings with Senators; and he has undergone 30 hours of face-to-face testimony. The Committee’s process was already completed when Sen. Dianne Feinstein dropped the “bomb” about Brett Kavanaugh.  Even though the explosive allegations by Christine Blasey Ford caught the Republicans off guard, the Democrats had had since July to write the script for their evil plan.

Sen. Grassley, please do not allow the process to be sidetracked by those who obviously have a vested interest to try to destroy justice that is guaranteed to every American.

If our nation does not stand for the Rule of Law at this very precarious time in our nation’s history, every one of us could be subject to serious consequences raised by those who want to destroy us for strictly political reasons.

If we allow emotions, feelings, and opinions to take precedence over objective truth and well-documented facts, we will lose our Constitutional republic.

The Founding Fathers of our nation knew their history. They had studied the Spanish Inquisition in which victims were found guilty by the tribunal without the victims being able to defend themselves against their accusers.

Our Constitution guarantees every American, including Brett Kavanaugh, exactly the opposite and for good reason.  It is up to the accuser(s) to be questioned by the accused (and/or his lawyers) under oath so that he has the opportunity to defend himself.  Brett Kavanaugh has already given his statement under oath. It is time for Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez to feel the pressure of being questioned in a setting that would result in charges of perjury if they lie under oath.

The Democrats know all too well that if Kavanaugh has not been confirmed by Oct. 1, then the Supreme Court will convene with just eight justices – 4 conservatives, 4 liberals. The new justice can be seated immediately after being confirmed, but he typically will not be able to vote on cases in which oral arguments were heard while he was absent.  Cases that come up during that time period could end up jeopardizing important decisions that affect every American.

The people of the United States elected President Trump. He has the right and the responsibility to nominate a Republican of his choice. The President made his lists of Supreme Court Justices widely available more than a year ago. This last-minute dramatic meltdown by the Democrats/leftists must be stopped, and the Senate Judiciary Committee must allow Kavanaugh’s name to go to the full Senate by the end of this week.

From White House spokesperson Kerri Kupec:  “This 35-year-old, uncorroborated claim is the latest in a coordinated smear campaign by the Democrats designed to tear down a good man. This claim is denied by all who were said to be present and is wholly inconsistent with what many women and men who knew Judge Kavanaugh at the time in college say. The White House stands firmly behind Judge Kavanaugh.”
