All San Diego County public and private schools will be prohibited from reopening unless more is done to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Teachers, students and parents across San Diego County are preparing to start the new school year from home.

Last week, Gov. Gavin Newsom rolled out new school guidelines which means all local public and private schools will be prohibited from reopening unless more is done to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Remote learning has been a major challenge for parents who are juggling working from home and at the same time dealing with their kids’ online schooling.

So how are parents adjusting? And how are they preparing for the upcoming school year?
