The STEMAZing Project Launches New Site Uniquely Intended to Provide Teachers with Access to STEM Education Resources

TUCSON, AZ, (May 21, 2015) – The STEMAZing Project is pleased to announce the launch of its new website The STEMAZing Project identifies high quality STEM resources and provides professional development to PreK through 12th grade educators. houses The STEMAZing Project’s collection of educator-to-educator recommended resources for PreK through 12th grade educators. From videos to lessons to competitions and much more, is the go-to place for educators to find STEM resources.

The launch of comes at the outset of summer vacation, a time when teachers often engage in professional development and hunt for resources to enhance their classroom curricula. The STEMAZing Project’s new website is uniquely intended to provide teachers with access to STEM resources that can otherwise be difficult and time-consuming to discover. All of the resources listed on the site are recommended by fellow teachers and vetted by The STEMAZing Project’s teacher-leader cohort. In this way, teachers can spend less time searching for high-quality resources and more time engaging with and integrating those resources into their own curriculum.

The STEMAZing Project was launched in the summer of 2014 out of the Office of the Pima County School Superintendent under the direction of DaNel Hogan, former Catalina Foothills High School science teacher and Einstein Fellow with the U.S. Department of Energy. STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) is increasingly the focus of education initiatives and reform. The STEMAZing Project is dedicated to empowering PreK to 12th grade educators to enhance and improve their STEM curricula.
