Today’s Disastrous Rewrite of NCLB

“Today’s Disastrous Rewrite of NCLB Passed the Senate”

by Donna Garner

7.16.15

In spite of multi-thousands of grassroots people who begged the U. S. Senate not to pass S 1117 (Every Child Achieves Act — ECAA), the bill passed today on a vote of 81 to 17.

ECAA is a part of the rewrite of No Child Left Behind and will drive schools toward subjectively scored standardized testing and the scoring of students’ social, emotional, and psychological behaviors.  This federal tracking will follow children from the cradle to the workplace without the ability for parents or anyone else to remove information.

HR 5 (passed in the House on 7.8.15) will now be meshed with S 1117 to produce a massive omnibus bill similar to the thousands of pages in which deplorable requirements can be buried such as in ObamaCare and ObamaCore.

My message for Congress, “The American people have no trust in the Obama administration nor in the present Congress. We need to wait until after the 2016 elections before passing any education bills.”
