VISITING JUDGE KICKS OUT PLANNED PARENTHOOD FROM TEX. PROGRAM

How is this to start out the New Year right?  Visiting Judge Gary Harger ruled today that Texas has the right to kick Planned Parenthood out of the Women’s Health Program.  Cecile Richards as the leader of Planned Parenthood had a choice.  If she and PP wanted to be a part of the Women’s Health Program, all they had to do was to quit offering abortions.  It was Planned Parenthood’s choice to keep on killing the unborn, and Judge Harger has ruled that that makes PP ineligible to be a part of the Texas’ Women’s Health Program.

Texas can go ahead tomorrow (Jan. 1, 2013) to launch its own state-run, state-financed Women’s Health Program in which our state can offer women safer healthcare in real clinics with real doctors WITHOUT using our tax dollars to pay for women’s abortions being done under dubious medical conditions at Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood has another hearing coming up on Jan. 11 with a different judge, but hopefully the ruling will be the same as Judge Harger’s was today.  If not, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott is prepared to take the case to a higher court. – Donna Garner]
