“Two Super-Duper Podcasts: Ways To Rescue Our Nation’s School Children from Common Core”

Alice Linahan is the co-director of Women on the Wall.  Nearly every Wednesday night at 8:30 P. M. (CST), Alice conducts a Community Conversation Conference Call in which she interviews guests but also welcomes questions/comments from those who call in to the radio show.  Later Alice turns these into podcasts and posts them on the web. The podcasts can easily be stopped and started again, and they are easy to access on any iPhone or techie device.

PODCAST #1 — Please go to https://soundcloud.com/alice-linahan to listen to the latest podcast from 7.29.15 in which Alice, Lynne M. Taylor, and I discuss the battle to rescue children from the Common Core Standards Initiative.

PODCAST #2 — 7.23.15 – Alice Linahan Show – Guest: Dr. Peg Luksik

This is one of the most informative podcasts I have ever heard.  Dr. Peg Luksik, founder of www.FoundedOnTruth.com, is a long-time expert on education. She explains very clearly how very harmful the Common Core computer-adaptive assessments are because they are designed to change children’s values, behaviors, and attitudes rather than to test their academic achievement.

Dr. Luksik and Alice Linahan explain the problems with the reauthorization of No Child Left Behind (i.e., Every Child Achieves Act in the U. S. Senate and Student Success Act in the House), and they also lay out specific strategies that parents can use to protect their children.
