How did a terrorist-supporting extremist end up leading the fight to maintain Obama’s government takeover of the Internet?

Ahead of the Federal Communications Commission’s vote Thursday to overturn rules installed by the former president in 2015, the effort to retain government control is overseen by a surprising person, even by left-wing standards.

Net Neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers must treat all data the same. The goal is for big government — a practice supported by liberals — to maintain ultimate power over the Internet.

A coalition of well-funded groups backed by liberal billionaire George Soros and certain Obama-supporting, far-left companies such as Reddit, BoingBoing, BitTorrent and others are pushing a movement to keep Net Neutrality.

Its ringleader is Evan Greer (above image), an anti-American leftist who has a history of supporting radical Islamic terrorists.

Greer, a biological man who identifies as a woman, holds radical beliefs ranging from eliminating our prison systems to abolishing the FBI. He supports whistleblowers like Chelsea Manning, Edward Snowden, and Reality Winner — traitors who have put their own ambitions ahead of protecting national security and American lives.

He also regularly expresses intolerance and bigotry toward members of the LGBTQ community who have chosen to live even a slightly different lifestyle than his own.

A self-described “radical queer folk punk activist” and the campaign director of Fight for the Future (FFTF), a militant “digital rights” activist group, Geer is also an apparent supporter of al-Qaeda.

Prior to joining FFTF, Greer worked for three years to free convicted al-Qaeda terrorist Tarek Mehanna from prison. Mehanna, who had traveled to Yemen in the early 2000’s to train with al-Qaeda terrorists, returned to the US and later plotted to shoot up a shopping mall in Boston’s suburbs with automatic weapons, according to investigators.

Tarek Mehanna attended the same radical Cambridge mosque as the Boston Marathon bombers and at least seven other radical Islamic terrorists. He’s now serving 17 years in federal prison.

On June, 25 2013, Greer defended the free speech rights of 18-year-old Cameron D’Ambrosio, a jihadist who was who was arrested for “communicating a terroristic threat” on Facebook. He bragged about trying to outdo the Boston Marathon bombing, threatened to blow up the White House, and said he wanted to kill someone to gain respect.

Not long after the Bataclan Theater terrorist massacre in Paris, France in November of 2015, Greer tried to argue that the attackers weren’t Syrian, despite the fact that the attack was planned in Syria, all of the attackers had fought in Syria, and had traveled undetected between Syria and Europe on multiple occasions.

Following the gruesome June 12, 2016 terrorist attack at the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, Greer said the radical Islamic terrorist who killed 49 people and injured at least 59 others was not to blame for the attack.

Greer isn’t privy to just supporting radical Islamists, he also praises thugs who kill police officers.

Earlier this year, Greer praised Assata Shakur, a radical Black Panther member who shot and killed a New Jersey police officer in cold blood in the 1970s before escaping to Cuba where she lives today.

Greer has built a reputation on blaming America and Western society for injustices across the world, and has built a reputation on supporting Islam and Islamic countries over the United States.

Despite his steadfast defense and support of radical Islam and jihadists, Greer is routinely quoted in the liberal media and granted unfettered access to audiences with some of the nation’s most influential politicians and public officials.

In November of 2014, Greer, MoveOn.org and several other leftist groups met with FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel to discuss net neutrality according to FCC records.

On April 26, 2017, Greer participated in a press conference with U.S. Senators Ed Markey (D-MA), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), and Ron Wyden (D-OR). A search of “Evan Greer” shows that he has been the subject of favorable news stories or quoted in the news more than 1500 times, including in mainstream outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, POLITICO, BBC and CNN.

The self-described anarchist who is determined to undermine our society and government, is the leading voice behind the push to keep net neutrality.

His advocacy for employing violence and retribution against those who disagree with his views speaks volumes about who liberals are employing to lead their movement to block the net neutrality vote on Thursday.
